Miranda’s Voice

Miranda wonders if she will find the strength to take her three children and leave her husband in “Miranda’s Voice,” found on the short fiction page this week.

This week I discovered that one of my haiku had been published and selected by The Mainichi Newspaper (Japan), for their “Haiku in English – Best of 2015”. I felt two things immediately. Honoured to be included with so many poets whose work I admire, and embarrassed that I had missed it until now! My only excuse is that it was published December 31st, and the beginning of the new year was a busy time. A belated, yet very sincere thanks to The Mainichi.
