Yesterday I had the pleasure of popping in to a local author’s e-book launch. Hannah McKinnon’s “Time After Time” is published by Avon UK (Harper Collins). Meeting Hannah was an absolute treat. I’ll look forward to reading her debut novel.
I loved finding the page of useful links on her blog, including ‘Stephen King on Writing Quotes.’ This was one of my fave’s. “By the time I was fourteen the nail in my wall would no longer support the weight of the rejection slips impaled upon it. I replaced the nail with a spike and went on writing.” Thank goodness they’re not usually paper anymore. (:
I’ve added some haiku to the Japanese poetry page this week.
“True morality consists not in following the beaten track, but in finding the true path for ourselves, and fearlessly following it.” Mahatma Gandhi
A Path to the Lake
Great choice of quotes always.
